Obituary of Constance E. Rounds

Constance E. "Connie" Rounds, 71, of 15 Ellis Avenue, died Saturday February 7, 2015, in WCA Hospital. A Jamestown native, she was born August 20, 1943, a daughter of the late Durward and Betty Thompson Smith. She was a 1961 graduate of Jamestown High School. Prior to her retirement in 2014, she was employed as a legal secretary by Price, Flowers, Malin and Westerberg and earlier by Johnson, Peterson, Tener and Anderson. She was a member of Kidder Memorial United Methodist Church and several paralegal associations. Surviving are her husband William Rounds, whom she married September 21, 1962; a son Kenneth G. Rounds of Jamestown; three sisters Kay (Larry) Weisbrod of Busti, Donna (Ronald) Tefft of Nags head, NC and Candace Calhoun of Jamestown and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Kidder Memorial United Methodist Church. Rev. Rick LaDue will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday in the Lind Funeral Home.
