Obituary of James P. Holm

James Parker Holm, 73, of Mt. Dora, FL, formerly of Bemus Point, NY, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, in Mt. Dora, FL while under hospice care. Jim was born August 15, 1941 in Jamestown, NY a son of the late Harold A. and Winifred Parker Holm. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a self employed welding technician while living in Florida. Surviving are his wife, Shirley Bundy Holm of Mt. Dora, FL, his children, Kimberlee Ann (Bob) Cochran of Mt. Dora, FL, Kristy Jay Holm of Mt. Dora, FL, Karin Margaret (John) Fields of Ocklawaha, FL, James Robert Holm of Gainesville, FL, five grandchildren, two brothers, Richard (Denise) Holm of Chesapeake, VA, Kurt Holm of Brocton, NY, and two sisters, Janet (Greg) Neid of Lakewood, NY, Katherine (Thomas) Schmidt of Jamestown, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents who both passed away July 17, 2003. A private graveside service with military honors will be held at a later date to be held in Bushnell, FL.
