Edna and Gunny are fondly remembered by the nursing faculty at JCC. They were warm and caring to all of us and we were thankful for their special attention. I know family was especially top of their list. I hope you all know you are in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time of loss and transition.
The pain of losing someone as special as a mom is something that we will never get use to because God's Word refers to death as 'the last enemy.' May your family find comfort as I have in knowing that our loving heavenly Father promises us that very soon he will have our enemy 'brought to nothing.' (1Corinthians 15:26) What a wonderful day that will be!
To Edna's family: Edna, On behalf of the hundreds of us who 'grew up' within the confines of the Pastime, please know that we remember and appreciate the memories; set up for each of us; and we'll be with you soon. Stay strong, I know you will.

I am so sorry about your Mom and Grandma. I only meet her once but looking at what a great family she raised, I can tell that she was a GREAT WOMAN. You are all in my prayers.
