Obituary of Terry R. Jones

Terry R. Jones, 55, of High Acres, Bemus Point, died in his home Tuesday February 17, 2015, surrounded by his family following a courageous fight with cancer. He was born March 8, 1959, a son of the late Roger and Dime Jones. He was employed as a mechanic at Midas Muffler, Dunn Tire and most recently Carlson's Car Care in Busti. He was a great athlete with a competitive spirit. He played pool, ice hockey, bowling, flag football and darts. His greatest love was slow pitch softball. He played in the Sunday League from sunup to sundown. Surviving are his wife Sandi Ross Jones, whom he married February 22, 2002; five children Tyler, Tarrin, Tristian and Tanner Jones all of Jamestown and Taige Jones of Bemus Point; two inherited children Jamie Perrin and TJ Perrin both of Greenhurst; his grandchildren Karynne Mims, Landon and Dominick Jones, Amari Graham, Jaycion Givens, Arriana Hodge and Kayden Dombrowski; six brothers Joe and Bob Reagal, Mike Curtis, Rick and Kit Cusimano and Don Keefe and two sisters Vicki and Kim Cusimano. He was preceded in death by his parents and his dog Jackson. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in Fluvanna Community Church. Rev. Dayle F. Keefer will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 1-5 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home followed by a celebration of his life at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Eagles Club in Jamestown.
