Louise, Susan, Eddie and John - I am very sorry for your loss but I am also grateful to have known your Mom for my entire life. She was an incredible person and her passing in many ways marks the end of an era. I appreciate Louise calling to tell my Mother and me the news. Little did I know then that the next day my Mother would also pass away, also at the age of 100. She loved your Mother with all her heart and would often remark after a visit with your Mom on the phone, "I am so fortunate to have Eleanor Franks as my friend!". I am very thankful that they had each other as dear and treasured friends who had many good times and laughs over the course of more than 60 years. They are fortunate to have had each other and I know you appreciate how fortunate you are to have had such a wonderful Mother who was sharp and spirited right to the end. With love and sympathy to you all. John
How we will miss seeing that lovely lady tooling around Chautauqua in her electric cart. We'll miss our conversations at the Amp, and we'll miss just knowing she's there. We know you have wonderful memories of Barry, such a gracious and fun-loving lady. Our thoughts are with you all.

Barry and Buck and all the Franks family were like an adjunct to our family as we celebrated so many holidays together and lived close to each other for all the years I lived in Jamestown until I went away to college. It was wonderful to see how well Barry was doing at her 100th birthday celebration last August and that leaves me with the most lovely memories of her. She was a most gracious lady and will be sorely missed by so many.
So many fond memories of activities spent with Franks Family. Will always remember many conversations with Barry, sitting on her front porch at Chautauqua. Thinking of all of you in the coming days. Sorry I can't attend funeral, since I am attening funeral Sat. in Rochester.
Phyllis and I send our condolences to the entire Franks Family. Mrs. Franks was a friend and bridge companion with my Mother Dorothy Roginson. Mrs. Franks was especially gracious to many of us during our teenage years. May God bless and keep her in his tender care. With much love and affection. Bruce Roginson
