Obituary of Joseph W. Klun

Joseph W. Klun, 85, of 146 Euclid Ave Jamestown, passed away Thursday February 26, 2015 in Warren Manor, Warren, PA. He was born May 31, 1929 in Cleveland, OH the son of the late Joseph and Anna Malesic Klun. Joe was a veteran of the US Army. For 16 years, he drove a CARTS Bus in the Jamestown area. Previously, he worked at Bostwich-Braun Hardware Co in Toledo, OH and Belknap Hardware, traveling throughout Ohio and Western NY as a salesman. He was a member of the RC Falcons Flying Club in Falconer and the Lakewood Memorial Post 1286 American Legion. Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Surviving are two daughters, Joy Ann (Dick) Larson of Barre, VT; Judith A. (Bob) Spencer of Jamestown; a son, Joseph A. Klun of San Diego, CA; four grandchildren, Brett (Jenn) Larson of Vermont; Lindsay Larson of California; Monica Spencer of Williamsville, NY; Maggie Spencer of Jamestown; two sisters, Anne (the late Bob) Ream, Mary (the late Bill) Welcheck, and a brother, Rudolph (the late Shirley) Klun all of Ohio. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Margaret L. Klun. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
