Hope: Memories come flooding back about April 1, 1951, when my family and I attended your wedding to Walt; shortly thereafter, you and Walt shared an apartment above our grocery store in Celoron. I had already made my young mind up to be a secretary as my Auntie Dorothea [and YOU] were; and when you moved in, I was upstairs as often as I could, VERY interested in your typewriter. To prevent me from pounding on same, you taught me, at the tender age of 8 3/4 years, to touch type. I was hooked; and heartbroken when you and Walt moved away - that date and year I DON'T remember. Just need you to know you paved the way for me to a successful career as a secretary, from about 1956, when I began taking business courses; and continuing until 1997, when I retired. MANY LOVING THANKS. I always thought you and Walt were the most beautiful people I knew. I'm so sorry to hear of Walt's passing; you have had such a lovely life-long marriage and many memories to cherish, as I have about you two. Stay strong; I know you will. Love always, Joyce
