Obituary of Marian M. Ralph

Marian M. Ralph, 87, of Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility, formerly of 1059 Hunt Road Lakewood, died Monday March 16, 2015 in WCA Hospital. She was born March 27, 1927 in Jamestown the daughter of the late John and Frances Senski Markiel. Marian was a graduate of Jamestown High School and Fredonia State College. Prior to retirement, she taught elementary school and music education in Buffalo and at Love School in Jamestown. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Surviving are two daughters, Luanne (Alan) Chrispell of Sinclairville; Julie (Doug) Nelson of Jamestown; a son, Joseph (Stephanie) Ralph of Jamestown; her grandchildren, Jared (Erin) Chrispell of Jamestown; John (Denise) Chrispell of Indiana, PA; Kristen, Karen, and Alyssa Ralph, Ashley (Danny) Whitmore, Aaron Nelson, Stephanie (Jarrod) Crandall; and Amber (Jarett Lingenfelter) Parker all of Jamestown; and five great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph O. Ralph Jr. whom she married October 2, 1954 and who died December 17, 2001. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. Piotr Zaczynski, pastor, will be celebrant. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 380 East Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, NY 14750.
