Obituary of Viola L. Daner

Viola L. Daner, 93, formerly of 410 Cole Ave. Jamestown, died Wednesday March 18, 2015 in the Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility. A lifelong area resident, she was born April 19, 1921 in Jamestown the daughter of the late Rudolph and Esther Nelsen Lindstrom. Viola was confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church and attended Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She was assistant cook at the Marvin Community House for many years, and previously worked at T James Clarke Box Factory. Surviving are her daughter, Eileen (Anthony) Pascatore; and her sister, Evelyn Fiore, both of Jamestown. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rudolph W. Daner whom she married May 15, 1945 and who died November 11, 1991; and her son, Thomas L. Daner who died February 24, 2007. At Viola's request, there will be no funeral service or visitation observed. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
