Obituary of Scott M. Goldstein

Scott M. Goldstein, 57, of 151 Myrtle St. passed away unexpectedly at 7:55 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2015, in his home. A lifelong area resident, he was born March 6, 1958 in Jamestown, NY a son of Geraldine J. "Jeri" Johnson Goldstein and the late N. David Goldstein. Scott was a 1977 graduate of Jamestown High School and attended Jamestown Community College. He was also a graduate of the Wilma Boyd Travel School in Pittsburgh, PA. For the past 22 years he was employed as a Service Department Assistant for the Shults Auto Group. He enjoyed spending time with his family at the Vikings Lodge and the Thule Lodge. He also had a keen interest in photography, NASCAR and Indy Car racing, hot air balloons and loved traveling with his brother to many destinations. Surviving are his mother, Geraldine "Jeri" Goldstein, with whom he made his home, two brothers, his twin, Jeffrey M. Goldstein of Jamestown, Todd S. (Tracey) Goldstein of Bemus Point, NY, a sister, Julie A. (Todd) Weiland of Mauldin, SC and his nieces and nephews, Emily and Alex Weiland, Abby Goldstein and Zachery Ames. He was preceded in death by his father, N. David Goldstein who died December 2, 2010. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received from 3-5 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home. The family suggests that memorials be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society, 2825 Strunk Rd. Jamestown, NY 14701 or to a charity of one's choice.
