Obituary of Gary Alan Talcott

Gary Alan Talcott, 64, formerly of 23 Chautauqua Avenue, died Tuesday March 31, 2015, in his home. A lifelong Jamestown resident, he was born September 3, 1950, a son of the late Harry and Gladys Hagelin Talcott, Jr. He was a 1968 graduate of Jamestown High School and attended Syracuse University. Gary was a self employed painting contractor and had earlier worked for Cummins and the US Postal Service. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed boating fishing and hunting. He was also a fan of the Buffalo Bills. Surviving is a son Christopher Talcott of California; a granddaughter in California; a sister Diane Lawson of Jamestown; three nephews, several cousins and his best friend Gary Peters of Jamestown. A private family service will be held. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home.
