Obituary of Nancy R. Jewell

Nancy R. Jewell, 37, of 225 Forest Avenue, died Friday April 3, 2015, in WCA Hospital. A native of Jamestown, she was born February 21, 1978, a daughter of Diana Berg Jewell Diers and the late Randall Wachter. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving besides her mother of Jamestown is her companion John Mendez, Jr. with whom she made her home; three children Alex Jewell and Isaiah and Dianna Lopez all of Jamestown; two grandchildren Serenity Jewell of Clarion, PA and Kingston Jewell of Jamestown and eight siblings Stephanie Black, Thomas Jewell, Jr, Christopher Diers, Zachary Diers and Melissa Diers all of Jamestown, Jennifer Jewell and Amber Arnold, both of St. Petersburg, FL and Matthew Diers of Corfu, NY. She was preceded in death by her father. The funeral will be held at noon Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. Major Richard Best will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery.
