Obituary of Betty M. Bush

Betty M. Bush, 89, of 2207 N. Maple Street, Ashville, died Tuesday April 7, 2015, in Heritage Green Rehab and Skilled Nursing. She was born September 30, 1925, in Jamestown, a daughter of William and Emeline Randolph Meyer. Following graduation from Lakewood High School, she worked in the office of Smith Cale and later as a cafeteria worker for Ashville School and Jamestown Public Schools. She was a member of Ashville United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school. She served as an election inspector for the Town of North Harmony. She was happiest when she was spending time with her family. Surviving are two children Cheryl (Emil) Richwalder of Wolcott, NY and Janice (Lloyd) Osterstuck Hinterberger of Ashville; five grandchildren Alex (Amanda) Richwalder, Adam (Katie) Richwalder and Jonathan Richwalder and Ashley and Amy Osterstuck and two great grandchildren Zoey Richwalder and Liliana Mannarino. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold C. Bush, whom she married November 29, 1947 and who died August 20, 2007; a brother Kenneth Meyer and a half sister Jennie Sloan. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Ashville United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Ashville. Friends will be received from 4-6 p.m. Thursday.
