Obituary of Reuben H. Hallett

Reuben H. Hallett, 79, formerly of 130 N. Hanford Ave., WE, passed away Monday May 11, 2015 in the Lutheran Retirement Home. He was born April 13, 1936 in Corry, PA the son of the late Fred and Rosia Warner Hallett. Prior to retirement, he was employed at Dowcraft Corporation. Reuben enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and spending time with his grandkids. Surviving are two daughters, Diana Farren (Bruce Houghwot) of Jamestown; Marianne (Richard) Connell of Falconer; two sons, Dan L. Hallett of Jamestown; Randy (Brenda) Hallett of Falconer; twelve grandchildren; Ronnie, Lisa, Ammie, Nichole, Christopher, Valerie, Tricia, Scott, Robert, Alicia, Stephanie, and Martin; many great grandchildren; two brothers; Irwin (Audrey) Hallett, Joseph (Marie) Hallett; and two sisters; Eva Hallett (David) Sargent Sr., and Dorothy Hallett (Paul) Kranking. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Bush Hallett whom he married November 24, 1954 and who died October 2, 2005; a son, Jimmy Hallett; a grandson, Jimmy Hallett; a granddaughter, Tasha Hallett; six brothers; Lloyd, Edward, Robert, Fred, David, and Paul Hallett; and two sisters; Hannah and Marjorie Hallett. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Reuben's life from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home.
