Obituary of Cynthia L. Hoitink
Cynthia L. Hoitink, 61, of 2533 Quaint Road, Falconer, died Wednesday May 13, 2015, in Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing.
A Jamestown native, she was born September 2, 1953, a daughter of Marilyn Juel Arters and the late William Arters.
She was a 1971 graduate of Jamestown High School.
She was a loving and supportive wife, mother and grandmother who always looked out for others. She enjoyed going to benefit dinners for those in need, auctions and caring for her animals.
She was a member of the Vikings, Herman Kent Post 777American Legion Auxiliary and Celoron Moose Lodge.
Surviving besides her mother of Jamestown, is her husband Jerrold Hoitink, whom she married in 1971, three children Brain (Jessica) Hoitink of Falconer, Holly Hoitink of Falconer and Jill Piazza of Lakewood; three grandchildren Nicolas Hoitink, Justin Patti and Andrew Piazza and two brothers Douglas Arters and Jeffrey Arters both of Jamestown.
Besides her father she was preceded in death by a brother Craig Arters.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Al Meyers will officiate.
Burial will be in Allen Cemetery.
Friends will be received from noon- 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
