Kay will be missed be all. She was one of the nicest persons I can remember from my days at Dad's gas stations. Always a bright smile and a kind word no matter what was going on. She was a Classy Lady no matter what. My condolences to the family.

I am so sorry for the loss of Kathryn Crossley, but we know she's in a better place and we have to look at the bright side, Heaven gained a beautiful angel. I would like everybody to think of Kathryn as an inspiration because she had such a great spirit and put a smile on everybody's face she looked at. And yes we will move on but we will never forget the person who changed our lives.

I am so sorry to hear of Kay's passing. My memories of her are many and so dear. When I was growing up, I spent countless Sundays at the Crossley home, where Kay entertained with grace, style and an open heart. She was one of the most generous, kind people I ever had the privilege of knowing. My deepest sympathies to the loving family she has left behind, and I send prayers of comfort for you all.

What to say? So many memories come flooding back as I compose my thoughts. It has been an honor and a privilege to have experienced the warmth and charity found in her home as I grew up; not only as Dave's friend, but becoming a friend of the whole family. Her heart was generous to a fault. She built into my life so many lessons that helped me become the man I am today. Things I learned from her were as mundane as how to wipe a kitchen counter and as important as how to ask a girl to dance with you in the ninth grade. She often had a sparkle in her eye and a quick smile of encouragement whenever I came into their home, that safe refuge of love and acceptance. I owe you so much, Mrs. Crossley. Thank-you.

Kay was a beautiful person may she rest in peace. I knew Kay years ago when I worked for Howard at the law office. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.

When I was three, my parents purchased the home behind Mrs. Crossley's house on Huxley. As my mom watched me out the kitchen window one afternoon, she noticed a gorilla, complete with a banana, playing in my sandbox with me. That was our first introduction to our wonderful neighbor, Kay. Many years of summer parties, laughs, and a shared love of Halloween contribute to my fond memories of such a caring, loving, and good-humored neighbor & friend.

'Aunty Kay'
I only knew you briefly through your niece Jan Johnson-Fera initially and later on through your daughter Lori but what I did understand completely was how much you were loved and well taken care of. This means you will be immeasurably missed! God bless you and those whose broken hearts you leave behind. You are in a better place. Please pray for those who loved you and let them feel some peace as they try to heal their broken hearts.
