Obituary of Jeffrey D. Hanley

Jeffrey D. Hanley, 53, of 236 S. Main St., died unexpectedly Friday, May 29, 2015 in WCA Hospital. He was born in Jamestown on January 13, 1962, a son of the late Michael and Carol Gardner Hanley, and was a graduate of Jamestown High School. Jeff had been employed for 16 years by RHI Monofrax in Falconer. He was a member of the Herman Kent Post 777 American Legion in Celoron and also enjoyed fishing. Surviving is a son, Brian Shavalier LaMountain (Kayla) of Lakewood, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Hanley and a sister, Janet Hanley. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. A brief service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday night following visitation in the funeral home.
