Obituary of Patricia D. Christo

Patricia D. Christo, 86, of 715 Falconer Street, formerly of Westchester Apartments, died Thursday June 11, 2015, in WCA Hospital. She was born June 19, 1928, in Jamaica, NY, a daughter of the late Emory and Julia Gilligan Billstone. She was employed by Sears in the catalog shopping department and earlier had worked for Prudential Insurance. She was a communicant of Holy Apostles Parish, Ss Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Her memberships include Thule Lodge, Vikings and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was also a volunteer at WCA Hospital for many years. She enjoyed reading, walks with her husband and vacationing, but most of all she loved her family. Surviving are her husband Chris Christo, whom she married November 19, 1949; two children David Christo of Jamestown and Mary Beth (Thomas) Trusso II of Jamestown; four grandchildren David (Leah) Trusso, Eric (Kristin) Trusso, Kimberly Trusso and Rachel Trusso all of Jamestown; two great grandchildren Trenton and Temperance Trusso; a sister Nancy Klar of Myrtle Beach, SC; a niece Susan Drier and a nephew Steven Peterson both of Jacksonville, FL. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a stepfather John Cullen and step sister Maureen Kenney. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. Deacon Samuel Pellerito will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from noon-2 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
