Obituary of Judy Mowrey

Judy A. Mowrey, 70, of 5719 Sinclair Drive, Sinclairville, died peacefully Monday June 22, 2015, in Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh surrounded by her family. She was born September 22, 1944, in Buffalo, a daughter of the late Percy and Marion McNiff Teeter. She was a member of the Jehovah Witnesses. Judy enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking and shopping. But more than anything was her love of faith, family and friends. Surviving are her husband Jerry Mowrey, whom she married November 11, 1961; three children Jerry (Tammy) Mowrey II of Dunkirk, Shawn (Deanna) Mowrey of North Charleston, SC and Michele (Jeffrey) Runge of Sinclairville; ten grandchildren Amanda, Ashley and Daniel Mowrey, Ashley Carlson, Michael Mihalko, Jessica Mowrey and Dylan, Jerrett, Derrick and Alea Runge; a brother Richard Teeter of Jamestown and a sister Sharon Dellahoy of South Dayton. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home and at the Sinclairville Fire Hall Friday following the service.
