Obituary of Phyllis A. Alleman

Phyllis A. Alleman, 76, of Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing Facility formerly of 149 McKinley Ave passed away Sunday July 5, 2015 in WCA Hospital. She was born June 10, 1939 in Franklin, PA the daughter of the late Loyton B. and Mabel Johnston Dietrich. In earlier years, she worked at Warren General Hospital as a Nurse's Aide. Phyllis was a devoted Christian woman who attended the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Falconer and was faithful and active at the chapel services at Heritage Park. She was also active on the resident's council at Heritage. Phyllis was an avid fan of the NY Yankees; she enjoyed knitting and plastic canvass and loved her dolls. She loved her family and was "Mom" to her younger brothers and sisters. Surviving are a son, Timothy B. Alleman of Nanticoke, PA; a daughter, Faith Ann Baker of Jamestown; two grandsons, Caleb N. (Courtney) Baker and Joshua D. Baker; three great grandchildren, Vera, Ezra, and Phoebe; three sisters, Beverly Ann Dietrich of Warren, PA; Patricia A. Dietrich of Titusville, PA; Carol S. Bulvoltz of Warren, PA; four brothers, Raymond Campbell of Butler, PA; Gerald A. Dietrich of Franklin, PA; Charles E. Dietrich of Lakewood, NY; and Kerry D. Dietrich of Meadville, PA. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leland M. Alleman whom she married July 20, 1968 and who died in 2007; and a brother, Richard B. Dietrich. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Samuel Shreffler, Heritage Group chaplain will officiate. Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park, Starbrick, PA. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and for one hour prior to the service Thursday in the funeral home.
