Obituary of Jeannette M. Perry

Jeannette M. Perry, 82, of 20 Lakeview Drive Lakewood, passed away Sunday July 26, 2015 in UPMC Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA. She was born November 6, 1932 in Jamestown the daughter of the late Robert and Hildur Young Lee. Jeannette was an active member of First Lutheran Church in Jamestown, singing in the choir for many years. Since high school, she and her close friends, Nancy, Gloria, Nancy, Janice, and Shirley would meet regularly as the "club", whether trying out the newest restaurant or keeping up with each other's lives, they remained close. Jeannette was very active with her grandchildren, rarely missing a game or activity no matter what the weather. Surviving are two daughters, Susan (Charles) DiVincenzo of Kiantone; Lynne (Carl) Vilardo of Westfield; a son, Michael (Rosann) Perry of Lakewood; five grandchildren, Dannielle Marie (Ed) Binns, Alexa Vilardo, Cal Vilardo; Wyatt Perry and Walker Perry; a sister, Judith Rhodes of Jamestown; and a daughter in law, Patty Perry of Jamestown. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Arthur Perry on May 21, 2011; and a sister, Roberta E. Schnars on July 3, 2015. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in First Lutheran Church. The Rev. Daniel K. Nagle, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service in the Fellowship Room in the church.
