Anne was the best helper I could have had in my classroom. While many of our students were much taller than her, she could and did command their respect because of her positive attitude toward them and school. She had a way of making the lost students feel special. She was also the best friend a new teacher could have. Even after she retired, she light up our hallways when she came to visit and always wanted us to keep in touch with her. Anne, my friend, you are sorely missed and I'm sure you are lighting up heaven with your special attitude.
