Obituary of Jesse T. Rogers

Jesse T. Rogers, 63, of 14 Barrows Street Jamestown, passed away Thursday September 10, 2015 in Select Specialty Hospital, Erie, PA. A Jamestown resident for over 30 years, he was born May 10, 1952 in Erie, PA. He had worked at Wal-Mart and previously at Bush Industries, Hopes Windows, and Phoenix Metal. Jesse enjoyed fishing and working on his Cadillac. Surviving are his mother, Vinnie Rogers of Erie; his wife of 24 years, Suzan McIntyre Rogers; 11 children including Austin, Tammy, Steven, and Christina; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and two sisters, Maryanne and Maxine. He was preceded in death by his father, two granddaughters; a brother, and a sister. A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Elm & Carlton Sts., Buffalo, NY 14263.
