Obituary of Irene Bafumo

Irene Bafumo, 78, of 165 Chandler St., Jamestown passed away at 8:22 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2015, in W.C.A. Hospital. She was born February 5, 1937 in Middletown, CT, a daughter of the late Angelo Bafumo and Bernice Lewkowicz Bafumo Scata. Irene was a participant in the Day Treatment Program at the Resource Center for several years. Surviving are her mother, Bernice Scata of Middletown, CT, two sisters, Lucille Garofalo of Falconer, NY, Bonnie Terry of Lucama, NC, a brother, Anthony Scata of Middletown, CT as well as several nieces and nephews. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Middletown, CT.
