Prior to her retirement in 1982, she was employed by MRC/TRW for 25 years working in the accounting department.
Coming to Jamestown in 1944, she was a 70 year member of Kidder Memorial United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years, served as a youth counselor, and sat on the administrative board. She was also a member of United Methodist Woman and was its secretary.
Her hobbies include knitting, sewing, hand quilting, bowling and travel. Whenever someone visited, Lee's hands were always busy knitting a baby sweater for a new mother or hand quilting a quilt for a family member. She will be remembered by many for her famous peanutbutter and chocolate fudge. She loved the Lord and was a prayer warrior. She gave to anyone who was in need and had a very forgiving heart. Her greatest joy was bringing up her two children.
