Obituary of Geraldine E. Dahlin

Geraldine E. Dahlin, 69, of 4 Greenhurst Village Drive passed away Monday November 16, 2015 in her home. She was born June 10, 1946 in Jamestown the daughter of the late Harry V. and Beata Johnson Carlberg. Geraldine was a 1964 graduate of Jamestown High School. For many years, she was employed at Fenton Park Nursing Home, Caregivers, and Willcare. She retired as a Direct Support Professional from the Resource Center. Geraldine devoted her life to caring for others. She also loved her cats, especially Annie. Surviving are two sons, Terry L. (Elizabeth) Dahlin Jr. of Indianapolis, IN; James M. (Denise) Dahlin of Frewsburg, NY; eight grandchildren: Kate (Matt) Moore, Sabrina Dahlin, Lindsay Dahlin, Courtney Dahlin, Hannah Dahlin, Terry L. "Tucker" Dahlin III, Sarah (Colin) Myers, and Jacob Dahlin; five great grandchildren: Lucy Moore, Maverick Moore, Benjamin Dahlin, Brea Myers, and Avery Myers; a sister, Joyce Burgeson of Florida; and two brothers, Stanley and Allan Carlberg both of Jamestown. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Doris Munson and her longtime companion Nevon Tarbell. Visitation will not be observed.
