I am sorry to be sending this so late but I am behind in reading the Post Journal. Mary Louise was a "nurse's nurse" a role model for patience and kindness. I remember when my mom was very ill in 1977 she had students in to help care for her and her kindness to me still touches me to this day. She sits in the arms of our Lord I am sure.
Mary Louise was a favorite instructor of mine when I was a nursing student at JCC. I've thought of her often over the years but have been unable to reconnect as I've lived so far away since then. What a long life she enjoyed, so well lived. RIP Mary Louise.
My deepest sympathy on the passing of Miss Corkery. She was my instructor at JCC in the 70's. Over the years I would see her and she was always so friendly and wanted to know how my life was going. Miss Corkery was a wonderful person and a great instructor. She will always hold a special place in my heart. Micki Muzza Johnson.
