Obituary of Mary Territo

Mary Territo, 62, of 2326 West Lake Rd. Ashville, NY, passed away at 5:10 a.m. Friday, December 11, 2015, at the home of her sister in Jamestown. An area resident since the age of 4, she was born March 3, 1953 in Tortorici Sicily, Italy a daughter of the late Michele and Rosaria Paterniti Calimeri. She will be remembered as one who loved cooking and baking for family and friends, spending time at flea markets and camping. Surviving are four brothers, Carl Calimeri, Anthony Calimeri both of West Ellicott, Armando Michael Calimeri of Frewsburg, Rosario Calimeri of Jamestown, three sisters, Marianna Pintagro, Josephine Bentley, Aldina Gullotti all of Jamestown, her companion Charles Territo as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard M. Territo who died September 21, 2000 and two brothers, Frank Calimeri and Sebastian "Busty" Calimeri. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in St. James Catholic Church. The Rev. Darrell Duffy, pastor will be celebrant. Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Friends will be received from 6-9 p.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home where a Christian Wake Service will be led at 8:45 p.m.Monday.
