Obituary of Bonnie L. Manuelle

Bonnie L. Manuelle, 67, of 157 Newton Ave. Jamestown, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, in the UPMC Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA. A lifelong area resident, she was born June 11, 1948 in Jamestown, NY a daughter of the late Fred and Mildred Start Ross. She attended Jamestown Public Schools and was a graduate of Jamestown Community College with an Associate's Degree in Human Resources. Before her retirement she had worked as a Secretary in a local chiropractor office for several years and had earlier worked for the Bon-Ton Store. She was a communicant of Holy Apostles Paris at St. John Catholic Church and was an active volunteer for the Chautauqua County Humane Society. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife and mother who loved decorating her home for the Christmas season. She also enjoyed sewing, studying genealogy and was an avid reader. Surviving are her husband, Richard J. Manuelle whom she married May 25, 1968, a daughter, Dawn M. Manuelle of Cleveland, OH, three sons, Mark J. Manuelle of San Antonio, TX, Matthew M. Manuelle of Austin, TX, Thomas R. Manuelle of Ft. Worth, TX and her brother, Robert Ross of Round Rock, TX. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday in Holy Apostles Parish at St. John Catholic Church. The Rev. Dennis W. Mende, pastor will be celebrant. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received from 1-4 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home where a Christian Wake Service will be led at 12:45 p.m. Sunday.
