Mrs. Starr and family,
I am deeply saddened to hear that we have lost Roy. The Lord now has him which gives me comfort. I will always remember him for the kind, gentle, caring neighbor he was to me. He looked after me like his own son and sadly, I'm not sure I ever told him how much I appreciated it. I never saw Roy without a smile, and he was the most gentle, positive person I've known. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. With affection, Jack Purdy
