Obituary of Dorothy M. Lucas

Dorothy M. Lucas, 85, of 2686 Rt. 394, Ashville, was reborn to her Lord Tuesday, December 29, 2015. She was born April 19, 1930 in DuBois, PA, a daughter of the late John and Margaret Curry Bilger. She was graduated from high school in Curwensville, PA. She attended Bethel Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of over 65 years Carl Lucas, whom she married September 15, 1950; a son John (Debbie) Lucas of Poughkeepsie, NY; a granddaughter Kelsey Lucas of Poughkeepsie; sister-in-law Jean Lope of Clearfield, PA; niece Lynda Hudson and nephew Robert Lope and their families all of Pennsylvania as well and friends, neighbors and many Hospice workers. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Eleanor Farwell. No funeral service or visitation will be observed. Memorials may be made to Hospice Chautauqua County, 20 W.
