Obituary of Mary Ann Arnone

Mary Ann Arnone, 83, formerly of 40 Chautauqua Avenue, died Wednesday January 20, 2016, in Heritage Park Rehab and Skilled Nursing. A lifelong Jamestown resident, she was born October 3, 1932, the daughter of the late Sam Giaimo and Bertha Bush Giaimo Bournique. Prior to her retirement she was employed by TJ Clarke Box and Label Company and earlier had worked for Lawrence Restaurant, The Polkadot and Murphy's. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards but more than anything she loved time spent with her family. Surviving are her husband Charles Arnone, whom she married August 18, 1956; three children Rebecca (Dan) Eddy of Lakewood, David Arnone and James (Lisa) Arnone both of Jamestown; seven grandchildren Jeremy, Joshua, Megan, Jenna, Macy, Ellie and Abigail Arnone; a brother John Giaimo of Jamestown and her former daughter in law Christine Prince Arnone whom she loved like a daughter The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. Rev. Gerald A. Haglund will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
