Obituary of Daniel C. Peterson

Daniel C. Peterson, 63, of Fiddlers Green Manor Home, 168 West Main St., Springville, NY, formerly of Jamestown, passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016, at his residence. A Jamestown resident for most of his life, he was born February 27, 1952 in Jamestown, NY, a son of the late Charles Clifford and Sigrid C. Zettervall Peterson. In previous years he was associated with the Resource Center work program and attended the First Covenant Church. He loved to take care of horses and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and played baseball as a youth in Jamestown. Surviving are several cousins including Larry (Cindy) Peterson of Jamestown who was his caregiver. He was preceded in death by his father who died December 22, 1993 and his mother who died December 20, 1999. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Adam Rohler, pastor of the First Covenant Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service on Friday in the funeral home.
