Obituary of Ralph G. Johnson

Ralph G. Johnson, 84, of West Seneca, NY formerly of Arcade, NY, passed away peacefully Tuesday February 9, 2016 in Absolut of Orchard Park. He was born September 12, 1931 in Jamestown the son of the late Gunnard and Marie Carlson Johnson. Ralph worked at Agway for many years and retired from Mac Tools. He was a member of the Camp Street United Methodist Church, the Arcade United Methodist Church, and the Lions Club. Ralph enjoyed camping. He will be remembered for his devotion to his wife Nancy and his family. Surviving are his three children, Laurie (Ken) Guenther of Honeoye Falls, NY; Wayne (Xin) Johnson of Denver, CO; Sally Fitzgerald of Buffalo; six grandchildren, Jill (Adam) Keller of Honeoye Falls; Christina (Greg) Needel of Dallas, TX; Brian Guenther of St. Louis, MO; Matthew Guenther of Lafayette, LA; Patrick and Madeline Fitzgerald both of Buffalo; three great grandchildren, Mason, Mia, and Charlotte Keller; his brother, Donald (Nancy) Johnson of Batavia, NY; and his sister in law, Suzanne Johnson of Cincinnati, OH. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Nancy Lund Johnson with whom he would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in March of this year; and his brother, Charles Johnson. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday February 20, 2016 in the Camp Street United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jennifer Delahoy, pastor will officiate. Burial will be in the Allen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Camp Street United Methodist Church, 110 Sanford Drive, Jamestown, NY 14701.
