Thoughts and prayers to the entire Anderson Family.
I knew Kay thorugh the National Guard Marksmanship Training Center and All Guard Program for many years. As you already know Kay made a positive impact everywhere he went and was a mentor, teammate and friend.
The most I will remember about Kay other than his great attitude and sense of humor was he always took an opportunity to talk about his family...like I said a great guy!
My deepest condolences to you and your family during this difficult time.
Lt Col Vic Marcelle
Administrative Officer and ANG Commander

God bless this man for all he's done for hundreds of kids over the years. He didn't just teach them to shoot, he taught them respect and a love for our country and our sport. Many owe their success in life in no small part to this man.

Grandpa; you gave me some of the best years of my life hanging out at your house; whether it was outdoors or inside; you were always up for fun and putting up with us kids! I will always remember your smile and the fun way you answered the phone when we called there... You have been brave all of your life and your cancer fight was no different; you are admirable! Thank you for impacting my life so positively and I know you and Grandma are angels above that will always guide me and my family and watch over us. I'll miss you; love ya! xoxox

Kay was a great inspiration to me as he was one of the first shooters I meet when just entering the sport. Always had a smile. He certainly contributed a considerable amount to the Junior rifle team as well as his personal long list of accomplishments. He will be missed. RIP Kay.

Sincere condolences to Kay's family. Not only was he a treasured inductee of the Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame, but he was a valuable member of Board of Directors who worked tirelessly for the organization. He death leaves a huge void.
To honor his legacy, the Board will make a contribution to the CSHOF endowment fund in Kay's name.
