Ken -- More than a friend! More like a brother! We spent many hours and days together. I was privileged to join him every year at the farm for a week of hunting. Often Ken met me at the airport in Michigan, and we spent hours together discussing sports or world affairs. Ken enjoyed a good beer and we had our share. As my son (Randy) commented, "It is hard to picture Ken other than the robust, smiling person we knew in earlier days."
It was our pleasure to have known him and we will always treasure our memories of him.
Good-bye great friend. Walk the woods of the hereafter in peace and comfort.
Ray

I really miss having Ken and Betty as my neighbors in years past. I loved it when their RV pulled up for its summer home. My cats especially loved it. They would run over to it as soon as it pulled in. It was their private covered patio. Ken and Betty got a great laugh from time to time over some of their antics. They were such wonderful neighbors...so pleasant and helpful.
Respectfully,
Steph Hyman

Ken, Betty, Doug, Karen, & Lori are such important people is our family lives. The fun family times we all shared are extraordinary. We spent time the other day fondly looking at pictures of our many 2 family adventures and experiences. Ken was always ready to solve any problem we encountered. His engineering expertise was legendary and his creativeness always came through. Carl was always awed with Ken's set of tools to do anything, and that he always knew what to do with each one. Ken could take something the rest of us thought was ready to be discarded and figure out how to make good use of it. It is hard to believe that Ken & Carl (my husband) passed away within 3 weeks of each other. In conversations with Karen & Lori this last week we decided that Carl was calling to Ken that it was time for them to tee-off on golf hole #1 and that Betty was waiting to provide snacks & a beer at the end of a good round. Ken we will miss you, thanks for being such a wonderful friend for 40 years!!!
