Obituary of Reece A. Baker

Reece A. Baker, 23, of 40 Falconer St. in Jamestown, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 17, 2016 in the Emergency Room of WCA Hospital. He was born October 17, 1992 in Jamestown, a son of Paul and Jennifer Crow Baker. Reece attended Frewsburg Central School and was employed by Water Street Brass in Lakewood. He enjoyed the outdoors, hiking and especially fishing. In his short number of years, Reece touched many lives, always smiling, creating laughter everywhere he went and forever helping others. He was simply loved by all. Surviving are his parents of Jamestown; twin brother, Ryan Baker and brother, Christopher (Andrea) Baker, all of Albuquerque, NM, and a brother, Eric Showalter of Union City, PA; maternal grandparents, Norman and Kay Crow of Longview, TX; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Paul Baker, Sr. and paternal grandmother, Shirley Hess. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Dr. Mark Hanson, pastor of the Church of the Nazarene, will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.
