Although I only met my great-aunt Jeane once, I live in San Diego, I loved her so much! We were kindred spirits and kept in touch with old-fashioned letters. She was the keeper of our family history and it's so much fun to read the letters between my great-grandparents when they were separated between Sweden & Jamestown in the early years. My condolences to all of her family and friends, of whom I know she had many!

Dear beloved family, Sarah and I are so sorry About the passing of aunt Jean. I have so many wonderful childhood memories of aunt Jean and uncle Forrie. Her passing marks the last one of that generation. A wonderful generation. We are, as a family, blessed to have had her and our other aunts and uncles of that generation. Goodness abounded in their midst. Throughout the years, Sarah would often mention the potholder gifts, handmade, given by aunt Jean. They have decorated our kitchen for many many years, always serving as a reminder of her goodness. Her goodness and kindness has been passed on to her children and grandchildren. Her gift to them all. And I know that her blessing to them will continue to others. Sarah and I will keep you in our prayers in the days ahead. Bless you all Sid and Sarah

So sorry to hear of Jean's passing. I will always remember her and her kindness to me. She and Forrie were my "favorite" cousins! Many, many funny memories of the two of them. May she rest in peace for a life well done! Love to all, Norma
