Obituary of Robert A. White

Robert Andrew White, 62, of Bemus Point, New York, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, in his home following a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Born in Jamestown, New York, July 21, 1953, to proud parents, the late Dr. Herbert Aspinal and Dona Louise Carlson White, he graduated from Jamestown High School in 1971. He later received his baccalaureate from Denison University and studied at San Diego State University. He clerked with the Chautauqua County Legislature and served on the Ellery Town Board for many years. Bob enjoyed fishing, golfing, gardening and a good game of cards. He also enjoyed his many dogs. But foremost, Bob treasured the time he spent with his daughter, Ann. She was the light of his life. Bob is survived by his daughter, Ann Louise White of Bemus Point and Sinclairville, New York. He is also survived by his sister, Ann Louise White Roe (James), Henderson, Nevada, and his brother, John Lawrence White (Antoinette), Halfmoon, New York; an aunt Suzanne Foley, many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
