My mother, Olga was a member of the "swim group" for many years and has fond memories of their Monday lunches at Wendy's. I accompanied her a few times and was able to take these photos. My condolences to your family. Chris

To the family of Mrs. Hjalmarson. I had the privledge of having her as my kindergarten teacher at Charles Street School back many many years ago. I have only had 4 teachers in my life that have made a big difference in my life and she was #1. If I could have flunked Kindergarten and knew I was going to get her as a teacher again I would have. This is strange to me cause up until I read the obituary I never knew she was related to the Goodell family which my mom worked for John back when I was in her class and then many years later I rented a house from Danny on Park street in Jamestown. I wish I would have known so I could have gotten back in touch with her. She loved all of us kids and she used to tell us that everyday After the pledge of Alliegence she would tell us all the we were her kids and she loved us all and today we were there to have some fun but we were there to learn and she would help us do that. I remember not being able to tie my shoes except for bunny ears and I would get tears in my eyes and she would take me aside everyday and we would work on it till I got it. She will be truly missed by alot of people. God definitely got one of the best angels he could have ever wanted back home. RIP Mrs. Hjalmarson until we meet again. Love and hugs to you.

I just wanted to send my condolences to your family. Although I only had the honor and privilege of knowing Svea for a couple months, it was truly a pleasure. Svea had the most beautiful smile and the cutest laugh. I will surely miss going into work and seeing her smiling face. God bless your family. Thoughts and prayers to all of you.

Svea was wonderful and I have many fond memories of her. She would stay with us when our parents left town and was a sport to put up with the likes of us. Good bye Svea, I loved you.
