Obituary of Diane J. Muench

Diane J. Muench, 64, of 862 Foote Avenue in Jamestown, went to be with the Lord and reunite with her parents on Monday, April 11, 2016. Diane was an inspiration to everyone she met thanks to the devotion of her family who were determined that Diane would have limitless love and opportunity despite being born with down syndrome in 1951. Diane attended the Resource Center sheltered workshop in Dunkirk, NY for over 40 years. She loved to make music and crafts, go on camping trips with her family, visit Disney World, and befriended everyone she met. She has always been loved by her late parents, Elmer and Mary Muench, as well as sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Alan Richards of Jamestown, NY, brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Linda Muench of Bradford Woods, PA, nephews Todd and Brad Richards, and countless other friends and family. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Resource Center, 200 Dunham Ave., Jamestown, NY 14701.
