Obituary of Lynn R. Fredrickson

Lynn R. Fredrickson, 60, of Jamestown, passed away peacefully Saturday May 7, 2016 in the John Blair Hospice House, Warren, PA. She was born June 28, 1955 in Buffalo, NY, the daughter of the late Thomas and Grace Beagle Story. Lynn was a devoted mother to three, a sister to nine, and a friend to many. To anyone who knew Lynn, she was one of the strongest people you ever met. Her love for her family was paramount, but she always found room in her life to take care of other people. From working with the mentally disabled, taking care of adults in assisted living centers, working at a child care facility, to providing her sister with a loving home and care; Lynn was one of the most thoughtful people you could ever meet. Surviving are her husband, Craig R. Fredrickson; three children, Travis Jon Fredrickson; Chandra Rae Fredrickson; Derek Craig Fredrickson; two grandchildren, Samuel Alan Knulf and Vivian Lynn Fredrickson; siblings, Thomas Story, Sharon Novara, Toby Story, Dana Story, Susan Droney, Robert Story, Deborah Jones, and Lori Brisley; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Terrance Allen Story. A celebration of Lynn's life will be held at 3 pm Wednesday, May 11, 2016 in the Lind Funeral Home. Attendees are invited to join the family at a venue to be announced for a brief reception following. The family will receive close friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers and other gifts, the family suggests that memorials be made to The Hospice of Warren County, 1 Main Ave, Warren, PA 16365.
