Obituary of Victor Allende

Victor Allende, 84, of Jamestown, NY formerly of Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully in his sleep June 1, 2016. He was born May 22, 1932 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico to the late Jose and Juana Allende Machuca. "EL Musico" as he was known, followed his sister, the late Maria Rodriguez to Westfield, NY where he was employed by Charlie Green Nursery and Niagara Therapy. After retiring, Victor returned to his beloved Puerto Rico. Victor enjoyed watching baseball, boxing, horseracing, and being outside gardening. Victor is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Lourdes and Theodore Culver with whom he made his home; two grandsons, Dylan and Noah Burns of Dunkirk; several nieces and nephews including his #1 nephew, Charles Rodriguez of Westfield; his good friend, Lydia Allende; and his buddy Magic, the family cat. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Mildred Allende Burns who died October 29, 2006; and five brothers and sisters. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed.
