Obituary of Joseph B. Reale

Joseph B. Reale, 64, of 1086 Phelps St. Sebastian, FL, formerly of Jamestown, passed away at 10:50 p.m. Monday, July 11, 2016, in the VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach, FL surrounded by his family. A Jamestown resident for most of his life, he was born August 27, 1951 in Jamestown, NY a son of the late Joseph A. Reale and Alma Griffey Reale. He was a 1969 graduate of Jamestown High School and had attended Jamestown Community College. Before moving to Florida several years ago, he had owned and operated Reale's Auto Sales and Service in Jamestown for 30 years, a family business started by his father the late Joseph A. Reale. Joe truly cherished his time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle. Family meant everything to him and he was always there to cheer them on, especially his daughters. In the last year of his life, he became a grandfather and that gave him so much joy. He was also an avid Buffalo Bills fan and loved cars and racing. He will be greatly missed by everyone for the love and laughter he brought to them. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Diane Bentley Reale whom he married August 1, 1975, his mother, Alma Reale of Bemus Point, NY, two daughters, Kristen (William) Landt of Vero Beach, FL, Kimberly Reale of Buffalo, NY, a granddaughter, Abigail Elizabeth Landt of Vero Beach, his sister, Sandra Reale of Jamestown, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Reale who died February 8, 2016 and his brother David A. Reale who died July 21, 2015. The funeral will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday in the Lind Funeral Home. Deacon Michael Lennon of St. James Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Friends will be received from 12:00 – 2:00 pm Saturday, two hours prior to the service, in the funeral home.
