Obituary of Analinda B. Felt

Analinda B. Felt, 92, formerly of 24 Dewey Place, passed away July 23, 2016, to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born July 20, 1924, in Panama, NY, a daughter of the late Rev. Theodore and Ruth Manes Brown. She proudly served in the US Navy from 1944-45. She received her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University at Buffalo. Throughout her career in Social Work, Analinda greatly influenced the lives of many in the Jamestown area, retiring at age 70 from the Resource Center. Over the course of her life, Analinda found tremendous strength and solace in her faith which was greatly influenced by her upbringing. She will be celebrated for her quick wit, intricate puzzle solving skills, vast knowledge, unwavering perseverance and faith, amazing command of the English language and unconditional love and support for her family. Analinda was the devoted wife of the late Frank E. Felt and the late Erle Dieffenbach; loving mother of Craig (Kathy), Mark (Ellen) and Tim (Deborah Morrison) Dieffenbach, Becky (Del Seekings) Steed and Peggy Felt; grandmother of Josh, Jake, Michael, Claire and Matthew Dieffenbach, Jeremy (Stacy) Kirschman and Benjamin Felt; proud great grandmother of Kaylen and Luke Kirschman and Craig Dieffenbach, Jr.; and beloved sibling of Betty (Anson) Winters, Overton (Selma Brown, Tom (Ann) Brown and Dorian (Dean) Dunlavey. In following Analinda's wishes, her body was donated to State University of New York Medical School in Buffalo. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Adam Rohler will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care, 20 W. Fairmount Avenue, Lakewood, NY 14750 or State University of New York at Buffalo.
