I am so sorry for your loss. Barb was an awesome person who always made me me smile. We loved talking about our "Sydney's" and how much alike they are. I will miss not seeing her and laughing with her. God gained an amazing angel.

My thoughts prayers and condolences to the Burke family and Pat. When I heard of Barbs passing I was heartbroken. Barb was a great friend to my Mom. When they all worked at the Gaslight together, oh the fun they had. I am sure they have found each other in Heaven and are reminiscing about all the good times and I am sure they are laughing. Barb always, I mean always had a smile on her face when I would see her when we were younger at the Gaslight and in the years afterwards. Sadly I think the last time I seen Barb was probably either Moms funeral or Dads and her and Pat again had a smile that was just so comforting to me. It meant the world to my brothers and sisters that they came. Pat, losing a sister is so so so hard, and I know how close the 2 of you were. No words can ever express what any of you are going through, just know that it will get a bit easier with time, the void that will never go. We found that telling stories helped us. Barb will always be with you all in your hearts and memories. May God watch over you in this very very difficult time and help you with your grief and sorrow. Bill, Pat, and family-thoughts and prayers to all of you. Barb was a very special lady and such a good neighbor when you lived on Ohio Avenue. I used to love going to the Fairmount Shoppe and buying way too many things from her.! She will be sorely missed.
