Obituary of Dorothy E. Sundquist

Dorothy E. Sundquist, 96, formerly of Bowen Street Jamestown and Warner's Bay Bemus Point, passed away peacefully, Thursday September 8, 2016 in the Wedgewood Nursing Home, Spencerport, NY. She was born March 24, 1920 in Jamestown the daughter of the late Robert and Clara Hanson Lindstrom. Dorothy was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Jamestown. Surviving are her daughter, Sue (Dan) Wilson of Newport, OR; her son, Randy (Arlene) Sundquist of Hamlin, NY; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Sundquist whom she married February 2, 1944. A graveside service will be held in Lake View Cemetery. The Rev. Daniel Nagle will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 556 E. Second Street, Jamestown, NY 14701.
