Obituary of Ryan T. Abbey

Ryan T. Abbey, 21, of 4593 Bayview Road, Bemus Point, died Saturday September 10, 2016, in Bemus Point the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born August 27, 1995, in Dunkirk, a son of Sheri and Tracy Abbey. He was a 2013 graduate of Maple Grove High School. Ryan enjoyed cooking, four wheeling, snowmobiling and his car and motorcycle. He was extremely close to his family and was the best friend to his little sister. What he will be remembered for the most, though, is the hugs he gave and always saying, "I love you." He will be sadly missed and never forgotten. Surviving are his parents with whom he made his home; two sisters Kassie and Kayla Abbey, both of Bemus Point; grandparents Barbara Abbey of Zephyr Hills, FL, Ron Chase and Sharon Nelson of Lakewood, Brian and Debbie Abbey of Michigan and Tom Duckett and Ed and Elaine Wolfe all of Jamestown and several aunts uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by an infant sister Tracilyn Abbey in 2000. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Lind Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bemus Point Cemetery.
