Obituary of Steven C. Anderson

Steven C. Anderson, 69, of 932 Harrington Road, Frewsburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016 in his home. He was born July 25, 1947 in Jamestown, a son of the late Arnold L. and Betty Peterson Anderson and served in the US Air Force from 1966 to 1970. Steve was employed by Hopes Windows for many years, working in engineering, the sales department and as a foreman on the shop floor, where he enjoyed mentoring those who worked for him. A fan of hot rods and racing, Steve enjoyed building hot rods and attending car shows. He also built, raced and watched his son race go karts for many years. Steve was a motorcycle enthusiast as well, who loved his Harleys. He is survived by a son, Daniel L. (Paige) Anderson of Jamestown; a brother, Alan L. (Christine) Anderson of Centreville, VA; and two nieces, Leigh Anderson and Michelle Anderson-Brooke. Per Steve's instruction, there will be no funeral service or visitation. The family suggests memorials be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 331 Alberta Dr., Suite 106, Buffalo, NY 14226.
