Obituary of William R. Johnson

William R. Johnson, 47, of 3 Holbrook Street, died Thursday October 13, 2016, in WCA Hospital. An area resident all of his life, he was born October 30, 1968, a son of the late Daniel and Irene Brosius Johnson. For many years he was employed by Lake Shore Paving. He was a member of Lakewood Rod and Gun Club. Surviving are his wife Melissa Toy Johnson; three children Joshua (Janelle Riewaldt) Johnson, Jacob W. Johnson and Shasta J. Johnson all of Jamestown; a grandson Ryder J. Johnson of Jamestown; two sisters Kim (Robert) Clark of Jamestown and Martha (Tracy) Butcher of Gerry; two brothers Fred and Jim Johnson, both of Jamestown; an aunt Carol Brosius of Jamestown and an uncle Thomas Whitmore of Dunkirk. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Daniel Johnson. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Lind Funeral Home.
